ACCIONA hosted the LowUP consortium in February 2020, here’s a recap.

On the 11 and 12 February, ACCIONA (LowUP project coordinator) hosted the M40 General Assembly of the LowUP project in Madrid. On the first day, project partners presented updates on each of the 5 work packages in the LowUP project, emphasis was placed on the demonstration sites for each of the LowUP solutions. Pertinent questions relating to the exploitation of the results generated in the project were also debated upon.
Facilitated by LGI representatives, Eva Boo & Dominique Vellin, the Exploitation Workshop took place the following morning and aimed to get the ball rolling on the marketable solutions developed within the project. Partners were organised in three groups – each group focused on one of the LowUP solutions: Heat-LowUP, Cool-LowUP and HP-LowUP.
The goal: Firstly, to generate a clear picture of the stakeholders involved in the different LOWUP products in order to ensure that the marketable solutions find the right footing. Secondly, to build a business model to better position the solutions in the markets.

Led by the Spanish firm ACCIONA, LowUP gathers 13 partners (3 large companies, 3 research and technology organisations and 7 SMEs) from 7 European countries. The LowUP Final Conference is foreseen for September/October 2020.
