DEMO #1: PILOT OFFICE IN SEVILLE
TECHNOLOGY CONCERNED: Low temperature radiant floor technology provided by RDZ in combination with hybrid solar thermal collectors by ENDEF, heat recovery system and stratified storage.
CONCEPT OF THE DEMONSTRATION: The goal is to use solar energy to heat an office space, using hybrid thermal-PV solar collectors which also produce electricity for the system, with a heat pump as a back-up system for the moments of solar absence.

EXPECTED RESULTS
The system is expected to achieve thermal indoor comfort with lower temperature respect to actual technology, storing excess of heat efficiently for low solar radiation periods, improving energetic consumption of the system and minimising the architectural impact.
The former warehouse enclosed in Acciona’s Test Centre for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Solutions (CESE3R) has become a retrofitted building that matches the regulatory conditions regarding constructive and mechanical installations.
