On 14 February 2017, the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) Concerted Action (CA) organised the workshop “Smart Buildings for a greener Europe: Emerging Policy and Practice”. Around 120 participants attended the event held in Malta, and several more joined it through a live web streaming. Promotion of the event and public participation, including collection of questions via email and Twitter, as well as feedback to the audience during the webcast was provided by BUILD UP, Europe’s reference portal for energy efficiency in buildings.
